Leadly Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
Leadly ("the app") builds contact and lead-capture forms for the merchants who install it, and reliably delivers each submission to them. This policy describes what data the app stores and how it is used.
Data we collect
- Store information: your shop domain and an API access token, required for the app to function.
- Form definitions and delivery settings: the fields you configure, and the notification emails and webhook URL you choose.
- Form submissions: whatever a shopper types into your form — which may include their name, email, phone number, and message. This is personal data belonging to your customer. Leadly stores it so that a lead is never lost, and so it can be delivered to you and retried if a delivery fails.
How we use it
Submissions are used solely to store your leads and deliver them to you by email and/or your configured webhook. We do not sell, share, or use this data for advertising, and we do not read the contents of your leads.
Data retention and deletion
When a customer redaction request is received from Shopify, every submission matching that customer's email is permanently deleted. When you uninstall the app, your session is deleted immediately, and all remaining shop data — forms and submissions — is deleted when Shopify sends the shop redaction request (48 hours after uninstall). You can also export or delete your submissions at any time from within the app.
Third parties
Data is stored on our hosting provider's infrastructure (application server and database). Notification emails are sent through our transactional email provider. Webhook deliveries go only to the URL you configure. No other third parties receive your data.
